Students will learn the basics of the language by studying these animated, audio-visual flashcards. A computer with speakers is required to hear the audio. Students should use paper and pen to "write along" with the animated Chinese characters paying special attention to correct stroke number, order and direction. Mandarin Chinese pronunciation is used throughout this site. Currently, there are three simple lessons at the most basic level. New lessons and intermediate classes will be available soon.
